He is also a registered fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Wales and England. Shiraz Boghani was born in 1969 in East Africa but migrated to the United Kingdom. He is committed philanthropist and an active member of the Ismaili community. He holds various positions of leadership with non-governmental organizations.
Shafik Sachedina is co-chair of Sussex Healthcare. He was born in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania and just as his partner migrated to the United Kingdom. He graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School at the University of London and today practices as a dental surgeon. He is as an active member of the Ismaili community and serves as the head of the Department of Jamati institutions under the Secretariat of His Highness the Aga Khan. Previously, he has served as the president of the Ismaili Council in the U.K.
